Kindergarten Graduation!

Annalynn's Kindergarten Graduation was a few weeks ago. I was doing house chores while the photos uploaded and just remembered that I didn't finnish. Well here it is. I am so glad for the summer break. Annalynn learned so much this year. She is reading very well. She will be starting 1st grade reading above grade level. All of her other subjects she is doing well in, but reading is the best. Now if I could just get her to slow down a bit and write neater. It will be sad to have a her gone all day and Ryan in Preschool next year. I am not going to know what to do with my self.

Playing the bells in "Move me on up" she was so intent on playing at the right time.

With her Best friend Haylee. She is also our next door neighbor.

Putting on the graduation cap. Finally done.

Had to get a picture with her brother. They love each other so much.

Chillaxin with dad

This a common occurance in our house. I have finally captured the moment. After a long hard day Rusin usually lays down on the couch and catches a few winks and the kids like to lay with him. Of course Ryan doesn't lay still very long. Plus he loves to take head dives off of everything.

Easter Weekend

We decided to pull the trailer out of storage and go camping for Easter. Friday found Rustin working late, so I went up to the camp site early and started a fire so we could roast hot dogs. Carla, Tonia and her kids came up with as well. It was fun to be with Rustin's family. Danny has become more adventurous when it comes to being outdoors. We also roasted marshmallows and had smores..yummy. Annalynn was having her birthday sleepover with grandma and pa Mangum. Saturday morning we sent down to town and the kids did the Easter Egg Hunt. Grandma and Grandpa Mangum met us there with Annalynn. Ryan was more worried about getting toys, but was able to find the prize egg and got a game. Annalynn was all about getting candy and she filled her bucket completely full. After the hunt grandma and pa came to the house to see Ryan's new room. Then we went up to camp. We spent time visiting and cooking good campfood. We also went to the resivor and went fishing. No luck on the fishing. Some of the tinfoil dinners got burned, good thing that we had baked beans as well. Peach cobbler was mighty tasty. Then it started to rain so my parents left and we went into the trailer for the night. It rained most of the night so it was quite muddy that morning. I had to go and teach my YW lesson, so no loss. Ralph spoke in his ward so we went and listened to him.

Ryan on the hunt for his toys.

Mom and Annalynn's self portrait. Waiting for the hunt to start.

Dad baiting the hooks.

We got the kids poles. They have been asking their dad for poles for a while. Annalynn got princess and Ryan got Lightening McQeen.

They got bored with fishing so they went rock climbing with grandma and grandpa.

Remodeling Project

So I have this huge house and only 2 bedrooms. For the last 6 yrs (the whole time we have owned this house) we have talked about adding a window to one of the storage rooms and we finally did. It doesn't have a "closet" but it does now have a window and that is a huge difference. We put Ry in there and he loves it. Sorry I uploaded the pictures in the wrong order, so you get to see the final project first.

Here is the finnished project. Looks beautiful.

C J pulling out nails from the celling so that we can replace the sheet rock. Thanks so much to CJ our brother-in-law. He help so much on this project, if not for him we would have had to pay someone to do it. It got some water damage awhile back. They Dish people didn't seal up their instalation job very well.

From the outside looking in. The boys are trying to get the window ready to put into the huge hole.

The sheetrock and insulation are taken down. Here they are trying to cut the siding out.

Putting the supports in under the window. My flash must not have worked or something. It is a little dark.

Rustin scraping the cottage cheese off the celling. This is the night before the big project.

Lost tooth

This week has been a rough one for Annalynn. She has influenza. She has missed school all week. I have never seen her so sick. Fever. Coughing so bad she can't sleep. There were 4 days she just sat on the couch and slept. It is so hard to see your kid so sick and not being able to do anything to help them get better. She is so sick of taking medicine. I think that she is starting to pull out of it. She wants to do more than just lay on the couch and sleep. On top of her being so sick her loose tooth finally came out and she litarlly lost the tooth as well. She has no idea where it is. I feel so bad for her. She was looking forward to show her grandma's and grandpa's her tooth. She was going to write a letter to the tooth fairy to have her leave it so that she could show it off. I guess it will have to wait for the other 2 that are loose.

Here lovely new smile. I had to fight for this picture. She doesn't want anyone to see it.

Dr Seuss Week

Last week was Dr Seuss at school. Annalynn had so much fun participating in all of the fun activities. Monday was crazy shoe/sock day. Annalynn wore two different sock and two different shoes. Tues was pajama day she wore her purple horse pajamas. Wed was crazy hair day. Thurs was backwards day. Fri was dress up like a character.

Dressed up as Horton form "Horton Hears a Who"

Crazy hair day.

Ryan need to get into the action to. He just got a hair cut so his hair couldn't be too crazy.
We also celebrated Rustin's 30th birthday. I made him a cake. He took 1/2 a day off work. Actually didn't work out to be a full 1/2 day. We went to St. George and finnished getting all the stuff for our new window project. We went out to dinner with his parents. It was a fun day.
