Museum

So this last weekend Rustin had to work on Saturday so we went to my parents house and had a blast. Went clothes shopping for Annalynn as she had 2 pairs of winter pants. Found some really good clearance clothes. By the time we got back it was around 10:30 pm, but my mom and I stayed up and watched "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" don't let little kids watch it. It was very sad. About Holocaust. Saturday morning got up at 5:30 to go the the temple. It has been a long time since I have done a session, it felt so good. Loren went with me to take the kids to the park. Thanks Loren. The kids couldn't get enough of my parents new dog Rex. Rex loved them to he wanted to follow them around everywhere. He is such a mellow and calm dog. Then my mom and I took the kids to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum in St. George. Very neat. Make sure if you go, to use the coupon in the back of the phonebook 1 kid admission free with paying adult. Under 2 is free. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment.

"Why is he bent down like that." Annalynn asked. I had to explain to her about how tall they are and that is how they get a drink of water.
Animals from Asia.

Would you look at that nose. Holy Cow!

These next few are in the children's section they can touch these and it is a very hands on experience.

I am tough

Ryan wanted to pull Annalynn in grandpa's wagon. Now this wagon isn't like any ordinary wagon it is a heavy duty work wagon and it not the easiest to manuver. But my little man did it like a pro here are some snapshots.

Ryan is such a tough little guy. He was having so much fun doing this as well.

Labor Day!

Me and my adorable kids....Love them to pieces.

Ryan helping grandpa with the fire. You can see how far away I made hime stay.

Saturday we went and saw the Barlow's at the lot up past the resivour turn off. They were up there camping. We also went and saw them for a little bit on Sunday and had dinner with them. I didn't bring my camera but the kids got to see a tranutla that grandma had captured. It was huge. Monday we went to Pine Valley with my family. Had a great barbecue with baked beans, potato salad, watermelon, burgers, dogs and yummy chocolate cake that my mother made. Took walks around tha lake with the kids. Let them play in the creek, but it was too cold, they cried when they stepped in. Rustin also went fishing. Didn't catch anything though.

Preschool here we come!

Today was Annalynn's first day of Preschool. She was so excited. I didn't even have to fight with her to get her to wake up and get ready. Usually in the mornings it takes awhile for her to get moving. She picked out the outfit she wanted to wear for the first day of school.

This is her backpack. She picked it out all by her self. She really likes Tinkerbell.

All smiles and so anxious to leave. Doesn't even whant to take a few snapshots.
She rushed right in to class and didn't even care that I was leaving her there. What a relief. When I went to pick her up she was so sad and started to cry beacause she didn't want to leave. I hope this will last for the rest of her school years.

Ryan and I just chilled out at home playing outside while sister was at school. He didn't seem to mind that sissy was gone. I asked him a few times where sister was at and he would point in the direction that we went to drop her off and say sissy.

Curiosity and Silence Don't Mix

Last night I was getting things ready to get Ryan ready for bed. He was being fairly silent, but it was only about 2 minutes before I went to check on him and this is what I found. I love that they are so curious and want to find out how things work, but sometimes it is so difficult.

I couldn't get him to look at the camera or stand by the mess for awhile. He knew that he had done a naughty, but finally I did a get a picture of the face by the mess.

The joys of motherhood. I am very blessed to have 2 beautiful children that give me so many blessings.

24th of July!

My parents came up to celebrate the 24th of July with us. Thursday night we went to the rodeo they did the bull riding first so that was fun. Annalynn did the chicken chase with her friend Tessa. Then we came home and did fireworks. Friday we went to the parade. We had a lot of fun thanks for coming up grandma and grandpa. Thanks for the pictures as well grandma.

Waiting for the parade to start.

Rustin is pulling the Primary float with his truck and that is me in the foreground.

Here are some of the fireworks that we did Thursday night.

Here is a picture of Annalynn on the float for the Primary she is on the far side. We couldn't find her for awhile so we didn't get the greatest picture.

Ryan's haircut!!

I decided that I didn't want to argue with Ryan anymore to comb his bead head in the morning. So I buzzed it off. Here is the damage. I think he looks very handsome.

All of his hair on the ground.

A view from the back.

Here is my handsome man with extremely short hair.
